HARVO and Hungarian Ophthalmological Society organizes its fourth symposium on 17 June 2011 in Siófok.
 

The main topic of the congress of the Hungarian Ophthalmological Society will be „Diseases of the ageing eye”. Two internationally established researchers have accepted our invitation. Boris V Stanzel MD in University Eye Hospital Bonn will present a paper on Tissue engineering and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) replacement therapy. József Fiser from Department of Psychology and the Neuroscience Program, Volen National Center for Complex Systems, Brandeis University and Harvard Medial School, Schepens Eye Institute will summarize their research results on Changes of eye movement patterns following age-related visual field losses. Travel and accommodation is supported by AFER-ARVO/Alcon Foundation Matching Grant Funds.
